: Artesunate (AS) tablets and Sulfadoxine/pyrimethamine (SP) tablets, in blister packs, for a complete treatment for one individual. There are 4 different blister packs: Child 2 mouths to 6 years: blister pack with 3 tab’s AS 50 mg and 1 tab SP 500mg/25mg. Child 7 to 13 years: blister pack with 6 tab’s AS 50 mg and 2 tab’s SP 500 mg/25mg. Child ≥14 years and adult: blister pack with 12 tab’s AS 50 mg and 3 tab’s SP 500mg/25mg, or blister pack with 6 tab’s AS 100mg and 3 tab’s SP 500mg/25mg.

Composition
Each tablet contains artesunate 100mg, sulfadoxine/pyrimethamine 525mg

Indication
It is recommended for use for malaria treatment, especially for preventing malaria caused Plasmodium falciparum that are resistant to chloroquine,also used in the treatment of cerebral malaria and emergency treatment of critical cases.

Dosage and Administration
Artesunate is administered once daily for 3 days. Sulfadoxine/pyrimethamine is administered as a single dose on D 1 , with the first dose of artesunate.
