1.Antimalarique schizonticide, used in the prevention and treatment of malaria.
2. Amodiaquine is sometimes used against amoebae, giardia, tenia saginata, 

and against certain affections of collagen.
[Dosage and directions for use]
Less than 2 years: 2.5 ml-5 ml three times daily.
Children 2-4 years: 5ml-10ml three times a day.
Children 4-7 years: 10ml-15ml three times a day.
Children 7-9 years: 15ml-25ml three times daily.
Children 9-12 years: 25ml-40ml three times daily.
