: Iron is an essential constituent of hemoglobin, cytochrome, and other components of respiratory enzyme systems. Its chief functions are in the transport of oxygen to tissue (hemoglobin) and in cellular oxidation mechanisms. Depletion of iron stores may result in iron-deficiency anemia. Damuforce is used to build up the blood in anemia.Folic acid, a water-soluble B-complex vitamin, is found in foods such as liver, kidneys, yeast, and leafy, green vegetables. Folic acid is used to diagnose folate deficiency and to treat topical sprue and megaloblastic and macrocytic anemias, hematologic complications resulting from a deficiency in folic acid.Vitamin B12 is needed for nerve cells and red blood cells, and to make DNA. Vitamin B12 deficiency is the cause of several forms of anemia.

Composition
In each 15 ml (one tablespoonful) contains:

Ferric ammonium citrate (equvalent to elemental iron 32.8mg)160 mg; folic acid 0.5 mg; cyanocobalamin 7.5mcg; alcohol 0.87 ml; excipients q.s.
Indication
Used in preventing and treating iron-deficiency anemia.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the product. All anemias not associated with iron deficiency.

Dosage and Administration
For adults:(for therapeutic use) one tablespoonful twice a day after meals.

For children: as advised by the physician.
