The effect of paracetamol tablets is to relieve fever and pain. It is used to treat fever, headache, muscle ache and other symptoms caused by common cold and influenza.
Paracetamol, the main component of paracetamol tablets, is a commonly used non steroidal anti-inflammatory drug. It can reduce the synthesis and release of prostaglandins by inhibiting the hypothalamic thermoregulatory center, leading to vasodilation to achieve antipyretic effect, and play an analgesic role by inhibiting the synthesis and release of prostaglandins and bradykinin.
Its indications are influenza, acute upper respiratory tract infection, cold, children’s cold, children’s influenza.
Under the conventional dosage, the adverse reactions to paracetamol tablets are rare, occasionally causing nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, pale skin and other adverse reactions.
It is also forbidden for patients with allergy to the drug, severe renal insufficiency, severe heart failure, and gastrointestinal ulcer and bleeding. Pregnant women and lactating women should also use with caution. It is also forbidden to treat pain during perioperative period of arterial bypass surgery.
This drug cannot be taken together with other antipyretic and analgesic drugs, and alcohol is not allowed during the medication to prevent accidents.
